Children

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

The Children’s Ministry exists to partner with parents to guide children toward a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ; transforming a new generation to be Gospel-centered disciples who know, love, serve and share the Lord Jesus

awana

Wednesday nights at 6:30pm

It’s time to get ready for another great year! We would love to have your child attend our Awana Club on Wednesday nights. Mark your calendars for our first night of Club on Wed., Sept. 15th from 6:30-8pm.

What is Awana? Awana is a children’s Discipleship Program. AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). The mission of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. We seek to provide an atmosphere in which your child can enjoy learning that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They will also learn how to apply the truths of their Bible to their daily lives.

To register your children, please fill out the below registration form!
We are excited to have your child with us and are honored that you would entrust us with their care during the worship service!
Due to COVID, we will only be allowing 6 children in the nursery each week. Please complete the "Worship Service Nursery Registration Form" by each Wednesday to reserve a spot for the upcoming worship service.

If you receive a message that the registration limit has been reached, please use the "Worship Service Nursery Question" form to place your child on a waiting list.

These forms will need to be completed each week and can by accessed using the buttons below.

Please be aware of the following guidelines:

1. Only six children and two nursery workers will be permitted in the nursery each Sunday as a COVID occupancy limit. Every nursery worker undergoes a background check to help ensure your child’s well-being.
2. Each child and nursery worker will need to have a temperature below 100.5 (per CDC threshold guidelines), and we will be administering temperature checks before entry. If your child is exhibiting any symptoms of sickness such as a cough, runny nose, continuous sneezing (or other), please keep them at home.
3. Per CDC guidelines, adults will be masked at all times, and mask-wearing is encouraged for the pre-school aged children.
4. To limit any cross-contamination, diaper bags and other accessories will not be permitted in the nursery at this time. Diapers and wipes will be provided for any child needing to be changed. Adults will wear gloves for any diaper changes.
5. To limit hand-to-mouth contact, there will be no snack time in the nursery. As the worship service averages 65-75 minutes, please plan to give a snack to your child just before (but prior to entry) or just after the service.
6. The toys and room will be cleaned and sanitized after use.

If you have any questions or concerns, please submit them using the “Worship Service Nursery Question“ button below.
