Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

Life Groups at Ragland have become an essential and important ministry. Life groups provide a more intimate and private outlet to fellowship with others that share similar life experiences and challenges in life. Life groups pray together, enjoy and learn God’s Word together, serve, and enjoy a closer fellowship.  These groups typically meet a couple of times a month during the standard school year.

Alternating Sundays at 5pm

This small group is an intentional community to encourage and challenge you to live out the Gospel in daily life. We will read and study through some NT books including Philippians, 1 Thessalonians, Titus, and James and discuss together as a group. While homework is not required, we do encourage participants to prepare for our meeting by pre-reading the scripture we’ll be discussing.

Beginning Sunday November 8th, Mike and Jen Liptak will host every other Sunday at 5pm with a light supper. Childcare will not be provided.

Alternating Sundays at 5:30pm

Join us to study God’s Word through the teachings of J.D. Greear. We will be listening to his podcast and then discussing what we have learned. We will start first with his series entitled “Everyday Theology”.

‘The word “theology” usually brings up images of seminary professors in dusty libraries. It doesn’t seem very practical. But good theology is actually essential in our everyday lives.’

Beginning Sunday November 15th, we will be meeting every other Sunday at 5:30pm for a pot luck style dinner!
